Day 1: Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, meet your guide at the arrival hall and walk to the vehicle. Head to Malacca, about 145 km south of Kuala Lumpur (approximately 2 hours’ drive). Check-in to hotel in Malacca, and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Early breakfast. At 08.00am, we will head to the outskirts of Malacca town where there are plenty of agricultural sites which provides ideal grounds for off-road cycling (3 hours). We will cycle by paddy fields, rubber & oil palm plantations, and villages. After the tour, we will return to hotel to rest a bit. At 02.00pm, walk along Jonker street which was once renowned for its antique shops. Spend some time to stroll through the busy streets of Jonker street, which has now turned to clothing and crafts outlets as well as restaurants. Afterwards, return to hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Breakfast. At 09.00am, we will check out of hotel. Then continue your tour to see the ruins of A Famosa fortress, Dutch Square – which is house of the Stadthuysand – and the church of Saint Paul. Later, walk across the bridge over the river to observe the streets of old Malacca. Most of the old buildings have been renovated in respect of their original design and converted into curio shops. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. After that, visit Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia, and Kampung Kling Mosque, the oldest mosque in Malacca. We will finally head to Bukit China (Chinese hill), the largest Chinese cemetery outside China. After the tour, we will depart to Kuala Lumpur (approximately 2.5 hours by car). Check-in to hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Early breakfast. At 08.00am, meet your guide and hop on our vehicle. Drive to FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia) for a nature walk. Enjoy a light trekking inside Salleh & Keruing Trails with the nature guides and be amazed by the view of crown shyness in the forest. Keruing trail is the oldest trail in FRIM and the journey takes about 30 minutes, while Salleh trail highlights the history of FRIM plantation forests and takes about 1 hour to be completed. Afterwards, return to the hotel by 11.00am. At 05.00pm, meet up with the guide at the hotel lobby for your walking tour of Kuala Lumpur. The first stop is Pasar Seni (Central Market) where we can observe plenty of local handicrafts such as batik clothes, pewter, pottery and wooden carves. Beside the market, there is a small wet market where we can taste some of the local fruits or juices before continuing our tour to Masjid Jamek. Then proceed to Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square), where Padang, Sultan Abdul Samad Building (former British colonial administration building) and Royal Selangor Club are placed. We will then head to Jalan Tun Perak and stop at Masjid Jamek, one of the oldest mosques of Kuala Lumpur. From here, we will walk along the Klang River (recently known as River of Life after the renovation and embellishment of the whole area) and return to Chinatown. We shall go toward Petaling Street, the main ‘street shop’ district of Kuala Lumpur. Our tour continues to Concubine, a brand-new bar in a back alley of Chinatown. Once a junkies meeting point, today the place has been completely cleaned up and it is delightfully decorated with murals from local artists. We will enjoy a cocktail while the sun sinks behind the horizon. Afterwards, we will head to Old China Café for a typical Baba & Nyonya dinner. The tour ends here. However, if one is not tired, there are several speakeasy bars in the surrounding such as PS150, The Deceased or The Attic Bar. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 5: Early breakfast. At 08.00am, check out of hotel then depart to Belum Temenggor, about 380 km north of Kuala Lumpur, very close to the border with Thailand (approximately 5 hours’ drive).
